new guy, need help

Greetings from Australia,

I own a white Acura Tsx and am fairly new at the car detailing process I was just wondering what in your opinions would be a good exterior detailing kit to get the most shine and depth out of my white pearl paint job. I was looking at getting a Porter Cable 7424 but I am unsure what products I can use with it, and the most confusing part is what pad I am supposed to use with which product and I what order.
I am looking at spending $300 to $500 all up

Any help would be greatly appreaceted
 
First off, welcome to DC! Make sure you drop by the new member forums to give yourself a proper introduction. The PC 7424 will definately get you going in the right direction, but it would be hard to tell you what you need without a proper description of what defects your Acura has. And even then, it's hard to suggest products because there are so many that do a great job. I would suggest reading all of the reviews that you can on here. I think that will give you enough info to see which products that you think you would like.
 
it's an 03 tsx just minor swirls and afew paint chips your usual stuff, i have read the product reviews but i am yet to find an article about products that will generate the best reasults out of my white paint it seems most of the users in this forum all have black cars ( why did i get white :wall ) but with all the produts listed i am unsure what pad to use with them and what i would need in a compleate exterior maintainane kit it's all so confusing for a neewb
