Hey guys, just joined because my truck went to xxxx with all the scratches so i'm not letting my Prius get like that..here is a shot that i took a few months ago, will be washing, clay barring, and waxing either Thursday or Friday so will post those as they come.

This is just after a wash with Armor All Wash and Wax stuff and tire shine

Well, ended up just washing it for now thanks to someone who decided they wanted to throw pepperonis and pizza sauce on my hood. there is now a red mark where those were, anyone know if clay will take that off?:help:

Clay will but I would use some polish...it will remove the mark...pizza? what part of town do you hang in?

:lol2: ya whatever, i cant go out into the sun for a while unless i bathe in sunscreen thanks to heat exhaustion on Tuesday. If i do end up having time to do it, what would be some steps to take...i'm new at this and seeing as you cant really modify a Prius and its never off road, i figure i may as well make it look good...wash, clay, wax?

Wash and clay to start...then I would polish to make sure you take out any swirls and set the paint up for a good finish...you could go straight to sealant or wax at this point...both if you like.
