Hello all. My name is Brian, and I live in Baton Ruoge. I found this site
through F150 Online.

I have never been that big into detailing a vehicle. Oh sure I wash it every weekend or so. I wash every few months. I never clayed. Never used any Meguiar's or fancy stuff.

Well, since I intend to buy myself a new vehicle in a few months, and since my wife just picked herself up a new black Focus, I thought I'd do it right from the start.

I have not decided on a wax yet, but I bought a bunch of Mequiar's products and plenty of microfiber towels.

I look forward to learning much here.

Welome to DC!! By reading here you will find that prep work is proper to a great shine and not the wax you use. I look forward to seeing your posts here on DC.

as Greg stated, it is not the wax that makes the shine. it is the preparation before that makes the shine. Meguiar's has a good line of product so use them and enjoy yourself. i too, look forward to some of your posts. with pictures, please.
