New Guy Here Needs Some Help/Touch Up In Interior

Hi I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question.



I need to do a bit of touch up on my interior. There is a couple of small spots on my dash (light graphite) that have flecked off. Is there a way to get a color code to get a match? I can probably mix something to match since the spots are very small and something close will not be noticeable. What type of paint to use?



By the way, it's 2000 Mustang GT vert.

I think that the vinyl material in the dash might contain oils

that would prevent regular auto paint from adhereing. I

have seen some vinyl repair kits around that might work, but

I haven't used them so I can't remark about the color match or

durability of these.

Today I found some Duplicolor vinyl paint that is a pretty close match. I might have to tint it down a notch to make it blend. The spots are so small that I can probably apply a small amount using a toothpick. Anyone us Duplicolor vinyl paint?
