Closest I got to Central Texas was a stint at Sweetwater AFB, a Radar Site, back in the late 60's....

I loved it there, the girls were beautiful, everyone was so darn friendly, and all of us GI's and the guys who lived there had fast, fast, cars !!!

Driving around Lake Sweetwater with open Hooker Headers in a real '68 Camaro Z28 with the 2/4bbl cross ram was something that happened all the time.... :)

welcome to AF. yep we have quite a few Texans on the forum. "Remember the Alamo" and "Don't mess with Texas" should get you through just about anything there.:D
