I officially went over the perverbial edge tonight.. It was bad enough that I went out in the rain yesterday to dump a bucket of water on my hood to see it sheet after applying 4 coats of Blackfire. It snowed lightly here today and my hose was frozen solid (no wisecracks!!:D ) So what did I do?? Bring it into the house and put it in the bathtub to thaw overnight so I can wash the truck tomorrow!!...Does it get any worse:rolleyes:

Been there!

Last year the hose was frozen solid.....I took a 5 gallon pail of HOT WATER and kept submerging the hose till it was thawed. Took a while and then I washed the car.....hehe

<strong class='bbc'>The problem is, it only gets worse. There is no known cure.

You guys are BAD! If the temperature dips into the 50s here, there's no way in hell that I'm going to wash the car. Its too damn cold for us. Maybe once a year I will, but that's about it.

I have my unheated garage to wash my car in.

I am thinking of buying some rubber gloves so my hands dont get soo freezing cold when i wash it.

all i can say is all u people have problems....while on the other hand i am quite fine with it all....i only come here for laughs...i can stopp any time i want.....really i can.....NO!...really!!!!

now back to the real world...i keep the hose inside my house so i dont have the freezing probs....Don you are a pisser.....what happened to the what is snow line....i missed it this time!!!not..............Home depot has some really cheap($) water proof gloves....they are Neoprene...about $4...they arent as good as the $40 ones like the scuba type because they dont have the thermal part really...but they are waterproof and so far this winter i havent felt cold with them.....:up

your all nuts!!seek help immediately...BTW...bret....the govm't thingy had me rollin dood!!!

It dropped to 14 degrees here last Thursday morning, and when I started working that day, it was still only 27 degrees at 11 am. Tomorrow, less than one week removed, the high will be near 75. Go figure.

The contractors who are paid for snow removal in my development used a brownish yellow sand/salt mixture on our roads this morning! Luckily I have about 4 coats of Z5 on my car and I Z6 it regularly. I went to my local self-wash and rinsed the body, wheels, and fenderwells down, and when I returned home this evening my ride really stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the other salt coated vehicles. My wife had a smirk on her face when she saw me touching up with Z6 and a microfiber before dressing the tires and covering her for the night.;)

Well I guess Im not the only sick-o around here!!:D

I thought ahead and put the hose in a trash bag THEN put it in the tub..:up :up

Once it started freezing, I just bought a new hose. Heck, they are only $10-15 for a decent hose.

I keep it in the basement so I don't have to buy a new one each week. :D
