New Garage Lighting

You may or may not have noticed in the passenger door reflection of the S2000 (http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums/detailers-showcase/42323-hard-body-2005-honda-s2000.html) a large stack of boxes. They are/were the new fluorescent lighting for the garage (plus 3 for elsewhere in the house). They have been there for a few weeks while the electrician and I sync'ed our schedules. Well, today they finally got installed! :yay

Went from 3x dual T8 (Soft White) in the 3 bay garage to 6x quad T8 (6500K Daylight). Massive improvement would be an understatement.

The pic is only good in that it is bright enough in there now to screw up the camera exposure.

I had the second/new row run on its own switch and the electrician used a neat (to me, anyway) double rocker to not need to install a new box AND keep the theme of the rest of the house.

I guess no more excuses for my shoddy work.

That is a very nice lighting upgrade for sure Mike !!!



I know when I went from 2 incandescent bulbs - to (4) dual 4' bulb fluorescents the difference was huge. It makes it nice even just to work on anything in there now.

I noticed the boxes in the picture you referenced but couldn't tell if they were just a massive amouont of bulbs or individual fixtures. The outcome is great, I currently have 2 4 bulb fixtures and need to add at least 2 more in my garage.
