New "fusion"

Maybe I should wait till AG has a 20%off sale and this way the wax is only $140

(for the love of God)LOL

Hi!

With regard the box etc. the wax is a luxery item and while not everyone wants that its part and parcel of what you might expect from a highend/expensive product.

I've been reading with amusement the AG Forum on this WG wax. It seems even the faithful are having a tough time shilling for it. They are trying to get into the high end wax market, that's cool - good for them, but I question why they would pick WG, a line that isn't known for it's bang for the buck to launch this. I bought the WG sealer back in the day, when I first started getting into detailing for dollars and I must admit, that was one of the worst prducts I have ever tried as far as living up to it's claim for durability - and that's what sealers are supposed to have -right?

It got a nice foreign sounding name perhaps? "Wolfgang" Perhaps they are going after the german market? I mean, if you look at all the waxes that are really getting play on these forums latley this makes sense.....

Zymol, Lusso Oro, Swissvax. Look at the polishes that are getting all the play. Menzerna, Ultrafina. I'm not saying that these arent fine products, but they all have foreign sounding names. Besides us crazies here on Autopia, people that have money like to feel like they're using something exclusive (i.e. Have you applied your Klasse recently with a "german" foam applicator lately?)

That's my .02. I just dont think that product would move as well under the "Detailer's Pride" banner.

Yeah, but that's part of Chim Chim's.. er... Setec's charm! Just wouldn't be Setec without the sarcasm. Personally, I like the ribbing/sarcasm/grumpiness in his posts.

Considering the original post I didn't take any offense to it either.
