Hello,

I've been a long time lurker, just thought I'd finally sign up. I'm a weekend detailer and by no means as advanced as most of you.

I recently picked up my 2008 Solstice GXP w/ 37k miles. I'm looking forward to learning how to best take care of the paint and convertible top in particular.

I'm lucky as the previous owner looks to have taken quite good care of the car, and never reven removed the pink protective film from the aluminum door sill inserts.

Welcome to Autopiaforums WillBeck, loads of great information and products for you ride at the Autopia Car Care Store. BTW WOLFSTEINS products aka RaggTopp has been supplying alot of manufacturers of convertible tops to protect them. You might want to check it out.

I have a thing for clean engine bays. I'm ok with the outside, but pride myself on keeping the heart of my cars clean. I generally don't use any kind of dressings, just keep it spotless.
