From what I see of how the flex works .I would not hold my breath on the edge adapter showing up anytime soon if at all. Also if and when I can see it not being cheap.

Help us out here! We wanna use the Flex too!

I was also waiting on an edge adapter and decided to email Aaron at Flex about it. He said they are looking into it, but the gear on the flex would make the adapter expensive.



Here's one of the emails I received from Aaron at Flex:



"At this point we do not have an adapter for that machine and it looks like because of the design an adapter may not be feasible. Flex has incorporated a gear right into the backing plate making for an expensive backing plate, and also a very difficult conversion.



Sorry."



I'm still hoping they can figure it out and make an adapter because I have a lot more edge 2k pads than LC pads. I prefer the edge system because swapping pads is really quick and the pad is always centered.

i ordered my flex from detailed image when they started carrying it. i got the red bp. but 2 weeks ago, w/o my asking, i got the new black one in the mail! its so much better. great machine!
