new computer

Congrats, I can't wait to upgrade mine. This 1Ghz and 256Mb running Windowsxp1 ain't funny anymore when I have to wait minutes for it to start up :passout: or when browsers become unresponsive as they eat up all the memory :passout:

Congrats on the new computer. I'm starting to feel the need to upgrade mine, but I'm waiting for the new Intel processesors to come out. My current machine is plenty strong enough to do thr job,but it is two years old or so at this point.

For you techies...Opty 165, DFI Ultra D, 2 GB G.Skill RAM, X850XT Graphics (weak point), Dual Hitachi 80 GB SATA II drive in RAID0.
 
:bigups thanks. so far learning my way around it. in the future, would most likely like to go with something faster than dial up.

Isn't that the truth. I get aggravated at work because it's only a 6 mbps connection. My home connection is 20/5 mbps. :rockon
