Yes the wool pad for the flex vs the Meg Microfiber pad.

I guess I really dont know much about this wool pad and its appilcation.
 
As long as it's not foam I'm curious about it. I've been spoiled by microfiber cutting pads from various brands that I'm done dealing with dense hard foam cutting pads.

How the LC purple wool pad compares to the Meg's microfiber and Optimum microfiber is something I've been curious about. I'm pretty sure I know the outcome having used both the microfibers but I'm curious how much cut is gained with the wool and how much the finish quality is impacted.

Also if I'm not being too greedy I'd be curious to see them each compared with two of the popular compounds to see how the product variation alters things...FG400 and M105.

I have yet to use a microfiber pad. What are the pros and cons? Currently I'm using LC CCS pads and wanted to try some Hydro-techs. Might have to try some MF pads too.

Pros: IMHO microfiber discs = faster/easier quality correction/swirl removal.
Cons: Frequent on-the-fly cleaning with compressed air or bug sponge.

Meg's MF cutting pads on a DA blow away any foam pad as far as cut and finish.
