New Chrysler is pumpin out some hp!

Yes, it is not a bad looking car, but it is a German design. You think Chrysler could have come up with that on their own? No way.

...But I will give you the Viper, its a very nice car (designed by a non-American though, I think he's Japanese).

The recent BMW, Mini, and Rolls Royce lineups all redesigned under the direction of Chris Bangle Director of Design Development Division at BMW.

Not a bad looking bunch of cars considering Chris Bangle is an AMERICAN ;)

My Mom just took delivery of her 300 Limited last night. Very sweet car-especially for the money. On delivery inspeciton, there was a curbed wheel which I had them swap out for a good one, and some faint scratches on the hood-looks like it was dried with a dirty rag. It came off another dealer's lot, so it had already been manhandled.:) I think I can take out the scratches with some GPEC-may take an SMR.

Then it's time to clay (amount of rail dust is amazing-paint feels like sandpaper ever right after a wash). Then a couple of coats of Z5.

A comparison:

She was down to a choice of 2 cars, the 300 & an MB C320. We drove both. Although the MB is a little smaller and sportier, the 300 kills it in acceleration, handling and ride-it actually has a softer ride but handles better! Build quality on the 300 is also far superior to the 320. Straighter, smaller gaps interior & exterior, better layout inside, more room (only 6" longer), and more whiz-bang. For $10,000 less than a similarly (not really-the 300 has more on it) equipped 320, the 300 easily is the winner. Never thought I would choose a Chrysler over an MB, but I have to admit that it's a helluva car!

Anyone who wants to badmouth the 300c can do so all they want but unless they have driven one it doesn't mean squat. I have driven nearly everything out there today and would put the 300c near the top of my list on every count - style, price, performance. It is fast, sexy and rides like an s series mercedes. Anyone else read the latest issue of Motor Trend? Chrysler is the only one of the big 3 to not lose any significant market share to the Japs since the early 60's. GM is the big loser there by making boring cookie cutter cars (except the newer vettes and the newer caddys). Ford - don't get me started.....

If you can't get excited about driving something with 425 horses under the hood, maybe you need to be considering a mountain bike instead? ;)

I completely disagree. The new 300M gets a 10 for style but a 1 for originality, as Rolls Royce and Bentley have already done the front square grille and chunky lines--it is completely unoriginal. Daimler is keeping Chrysler alive otherwise they'd be going the way of the Plymouth--its the only reason the Crossfire sells. The Impala is a joke from what it once was (even as recently as the 94-96 models). The GTO is a cheesy Grand Prix with an LS1 stuffed in it. The list goes on and on.

Isn't the Impala made my Chevrolet, not Chrysler?

1/4 horse here. Piloting a 1996 Trek 990 from a shop in Chattanooga. Frame from the factory--everything else from aftermarket. Your Chrysler is a meal on the singletrack:)

I dont know about where you live......but there are ALOT of Crossfires on the lot and almost none seen on the streets here in Chicago.......Think they are alittle too much $$$$ for what you get

And then lets talk about styling...how did the designer (or the person who approved the design) of the AZTEC still have a job!!! If it wasnt ugly enough, they let them redesign it the next year....NO IMPROVEMENT!!!!!

If thats true, he definetly learned what not to do on the C6, cuz it is a thing of beauty!! Best thing to come from GM in a long time!

their new cars are a lot better than the old ones.. i remember the LHS, and the New Yorker.. what the h*** were they thinking then? all those cab forward things... the 300c is sick looking and with 85 more horses out of the hemi.. thats one quick sedan!
