New car swirls

Greg Ayo- I haven't done any comparisons to say just how it fits into the "aggressiveness hierarchy", but HD Polish would replace whatever other medium/final polish you might have used instead.  For me, it basically replaced M205 and 1Z High-Gloss (and to replace that 1Z it had to be good).

I'd just use your Menzerna and see how it goes.

I have a 2014 Mazda 6, same color Jet Black Mica and same swirls installed from the dealership.

Going to give the hood an ONR wash this weekend and hit it with the PC/M205/White polishing pad and see what happens.

So I hit it with the menzerna SF and white pad. Surprisingly since the paint is so soft. It did a better job then expected. it didn't get rid of the bigger swirls, so I think I'm gonna go over those with SIP and white pad then finish those parts again with the SF. I think SIP with the orange pad will be over kill

Finally finished!!!

I basically used SIP with orange pad. Then with the white pad. And then SF with the white pad on the problem areas. Everywhere else I used the SF with the white pad. Finished off with some Meguiars black wax! Beautiful finish!

EDIT: keep in mind it took these pictures after driving a little so the car is a bit dusty

I think I might have just masked these swirls because their back... I think I'm going to use MF compound with orange pad, then HD polish with white pad, the Menzerna SF with white pad.. Im gonna do it once and do it right one time, and take my time. Then just maintain

Menzerna is notorious for masking swirls. Not deliberately, just a byproduct of the lubricant it contains. You need to work it longer and make sure it breaks down into an oily film. If you finish with HD POLISH it should remove any concealers and give you a better idea of the paints true condition.
