New Car Smell?

I have just recently purchased Ozium - "New Car Smell" at my local K-Mart.

Caveat - My smeller is it not really the best - ok, ok, I wouldn't smell it if I was standing it, however:

I use both Pinnacle Leather Conditioner and Ozium New Car Smell. To me, these to products seem to be very similar in smell.:nixweiss

That is a good thing then. Pinnacle leather conditioner is scented like Platinum’s leather conditioner. I know that the Platinum one smells just like new leather. That in combination with the Ozium creates a brand new car scent in my car. I love it. I’ve read that Pinnacle’s smells like leather as well. If you are saying that your Ozium smells similar to your car after applying Pinnacle leather conditioner then you are saying that the Ozium smells like new leather. That’s the new car smell for sure. :xyxthumbs

Try dollarama as well, I've seen it there.

Really, I was just at Canadian Tire an hour ago and didn't see it. Which section is it in? I looked at the air freshener section and only saw flowery smelling stuff. Went there mainly to see if they had Mother's paint chip repair to fix a chip on my brand new car! Couldn't find that either.

here is something that has been bugging me I have a leather interior and I have for the winter some rubber floor mats. If I wanted to spray Ozium in my car where would I spray it? Into the vents? I don't want the fallout to stain anything. Normally I would just spray into my carpets but alas they are rubber now. any ideas?

I've got black leather seats and I've never noticed any spotting or anything from it. I'm sure if you sprayed it directly on the seats or the windows or something then you would be able to tell. I've never had a problem so far. :up

You don't spray it into your vents. I guess you could, but that's not where it goes. You just mist it into your car. I usually just open the door and spray it in and then close it up again so it will settle. Then I open the doors about 10 minutes later and let it ventilate before driving it off. It works like a charm. :)

Thanks. I was just about to go to another Canadian Tire store tonight during the hockey game intermission. Think I'll just finish watching the Canucks/Senators game then.

CT is a bit funny that way. Every store carries slightly different products. One CT in the GTA carries some of the Meguir's Pro Line to a certain extent (No. 9, No. 40). Go figure.

I just went to the big Lordco at Kingsway in Burnaby. No Ozium, only the regular Medo stuff. They never heard of it. They also had no access to get me some Mothers Paint Chip Repair.

No Ozium at Wal-Mart in Surrey either. As you can see, I've been making the rounds today.
