New car please help

I just got a new black car that was delivered with lots of micro scratches. So I just got them polished out and applied Mothers Reflections polymer wax. Came out nice. Now car is dirty...it snowed this week. I'm afraid to scratch it again - anyone have advise on how to clean it and maintain it? Thanks
