My wife and I just pulled the trigger on the new Wagon Queen Family Truckster in Metallic Pee. "You think you hate it now, just wait till you drive it!"
Not really, got a new Honda Odyssey Van, in Gold Metallic, and traded in the Black Pearl Acura MDX. My wife wanted Gold because she said, "You won't have to spend so much time making it look good. Not like Black." Little does she know!!!!
Picked up a second dog, a 65 lb lab mix to go with our 50 lb Belgian Shepherd. Mix with a 7 yr old daughter, a 10 yr old son, and add in frequent trips to the lake, and the MDX just wasn't big enough anymore.
Anyways, I have 2 questions:
1) I have both AIO/SG as well as 4Star Platinum (UPP), and some Glanz wax. I am guessing that Glanz is the shortest lived here, but is the easiest to use. I thought the 4Star looked fabulous on a platinum metal flake Lexus I did last year, but wasn't sure how long a couple of layers would last. I am sure SG would last all winter, but does anybody have some experience using Platinum over a long Midwest Winter? UPP is easier to use, and made the flake in the Lexus sparkle, which I would hope it would do on the metal flake in the new Honda.
2) I want to get a 3M clear bra for it. Anyone have experience applying one? I will pay to have it done, but would like to do it myself, for the experience. If its just a matter of taking your time and being meticulous, I feel like I would like to do it. If it is a major PITA, then I will hand it off and pay someone.
Anyways, as always, your feedback is appreciated.
