New Blackfire Sealant ?

So on some other sites (sorry, I peak once in a while) there has been some discussion about the new Blackfire sealant, however, I have not seen anything here at the great DC about this product yet.

I am not familiar with the BF line at all, but understand it is pretty well respected on black and red finishes. The product page says "Equal if not better depth and wetness of Menzerna's FMJ for 38% less money ".

So, has anyone tried it yet? What's your impression of the new product (or the old one)? Do you think the claim vs FMJ is real? Ect?
 
Never used the old version, don't plan to use the new version.

It is probably a good product and joins hundreds of other good products available to us.
It seems like some one writes a review on a new product and for a monthor so, that product becomes the "have to have" product for a lot of people.
The one thing that a lot of people have a problem accepting is the simple fact that the process is a lot more important than the products used.
Yes, some are better, but just about any of them will do a pretty darned good job if you use them properly.
I've mentioned before that I know people that use Meguiar's Gold Class and even Finish 2001 regularly and have what most people would consider great looking vehicles. Their secret is using the product regularly.

I did think it was interesting to read that it was a rebranded, (and possibly tweaked), Menzerna product already on the market.

I have used the old "Blackfire". It was/is good stuff. But I agree 100 % with Charles. It's the process, more than the product. As often as most of us detail our personal vehicles, durability is not really an issue.
