New Bike!!!

Ok it's official. I have become a responsible older person. Like some of the others, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this is-

I hope he doesn't kill
himself on that thing.
:thought:

Seriously Pockets I had a modified 84' GPZ 750 when I was 16 and I wrecked it twice soon after I bought it. I was very lucky both times. I know that was me and not you but I just wanted to mention it because I would hate to see Poorboy have to find new brains to his operation.:crazy2:

Congrats and be safe.:bigups

One thing you need to be careful about has not been brought up.
Bikes are chick magnets!
Be careful, the first thing you know they will be hanging all over you wanting to go for a ride.
That sort of thing can really mess up your personal life.
Only one thing cures it. Age. At least it did for me. I no longer have the problem. :D

I like the accent lights very nice.

From my experience... There are two kinds of riders out there -- those who have fallen, and those who will. I'll hope you forever remain in the latter.

It seems I need to clarify things a bit.
I don't need the little blue pill yet, but the only women interested in an old man are old women.
By the way, that's not all bad.

To clarify a little further, I have had the same young, now old woman for over 48 years. Not really looking to find another one.:)

Hey Pockets,

I think we just met at the shop today, I was on my new bike, it is a 2008 Honda Interceptor. That is a Very nice bike you got Good luck with it and ride safe. As Steve said our area is full of Idiots that don't pay attention to thier surroundings so watch out for these Morons.
Secondly keeping the bike in gear at a light is great advice and could one day save your life by allowing you to move in a hurry.

Here are some pics:)

So.....
How are you doing with the bike?
Haven't seen any updates for some time.
Still ride? :)

Also, another old motorcycle.
It's a 1985 Honda CB650SC Nighthawk that I purchased new. (To replace a 1983 NH 650)

You don't think I was fishing for compliments when I posted the picture do you? :D

As far as getting it new, I bought it new in 1985.
Having old stuff isn't hard to do when you are old. :)
