This car really is stunning in person .

Im so happy my customer decided to pay me to polish the swirls out because it really took away from its beauty.He is really happy he did now too!

I wish now I had some before pics but I was a little worried about how much time it would take me to do and needed to be done that day, and taking pics really distracts me while Im working.

I really admire you guys for all the work you put into your write ups . Im not sure I have the patience and energy to do that !But I may add some things to the pictures telling my proccess and get more detailed as I go along.

Honestly most of my jobs are clay and wax jobs( please dont beat me up LOL) and most of my time is spent on interiors but I am getting more polishing jobs ,3 this week even . Most of my customers dont want to pay the extra but I need to work on my selling techniques!

Barry , Im doing great and working my butt off LOL Today Im off only because of the rain we are having .This month for me has been fantastic !:money::thumbup:

I've got a customer with one of those, but no hardtop and it's a 1971. I got to drive it (really didn't want to, but he needed me to pick it up and drop it back off) probably 12ish miles. While it was sorta fun to toot around in something that old, my legs didn't fit under the steering wheel, it was loud, had a sort of sloppy feel and everything else just makes one appreciate the refinement of modern cars.

Awesome car. Love the 280sl. I've already had several in my shop this year and they are always fun to work on. Here is one me and my brother fixed up for one of our regular customers. The engine was disassembled almost to the block, repainted and put back together. This car was going to auction.
