I live in British Columbia. Am a care buff. I bought my first car in 1964 CAMARO 350. Took off my shoes so as not to get mud on the carpets.LOL. I'm 61 now, Just bought a Big Ass avalanche.. couldn't do the crossover . It's about how I feel. Life is short! We spend a lot of time travelling. The freedom of driving has never been surpassed.

Welcome to DC.

I'm not sure I am following you. Are you saying that you can't get used to a SUV after driving a car for so long?

My vehicle has been a truck for so long I wouldn't know what to do with myself owning a car.:)

I have switched back and forth between owning full-size and small pick-ups and I will say that after owning a full-size, driving a compact truck is very difficult to get used to.

Welcome to DC. I hope you have as good a time here as I do. Lots of good ideas for car care. Plus the members are very friendly and learned.

There is plenty of great info and people here to help you keep that Avalanche looking great.
Enjoy your stay.

Welcome to the site from Sonoma County CA

You guys are a tough crowd to play to...64..67....shezzzzz

I always liked the split bumper '70 Camaro (or was it '70.5?). In 1994, I came in second place in a Car Craft design contest for a '69 Camaro with a $15,000 budget. My prize was a Chip Foose illustration of the car as I had spec'd it out. :)
