Neverwet Hydrophopic something or other

It looks very cool.... But the main question I have is this: What kind of durability will this have to abrasion? Like getting in and out and sitting on seats, Vert tops and the elements.

If it doesn't resist abrasion that it will be another high priced 303....

This has seen a LOT of attention the past few weeks on the detailing forums.

The below post by Avi should be noted....

Not sure if it's still accurate today, but it's worth looking into.

Guys

such technology is not new.. sorry to disappoint you guys but small thing they dont tell you here is that it has NO durability to any abrasion, even light finger touch will affect alot the super hydrophobic effect..
this is the biggest problem of SHP coats.

The videos have gone viral on the web. I'm seeing them everywhere and people are emailing them a lot, too.

Looks very interesting. Soon someone will be incorporating this product into a wax product for automotive paint.

I heard of this a few years ago by one of my head boss that our company have been looking into to help our customers in the coatings industry. It has many applications and looks like it might be coming into the car detailing industry someday soon. Will have to wait and see about this.
