Neglected 03 BMW 330ci.

Nice!!

I just hate when the tire shop puts weights on a nice rim instead of using the glue-type inside the wheel, maybe it's only me....

good work! do you charge for taking the wheels off, or is it just bundled in?

edit: i see you do put stands under, nevermind :)

50% of the detail is to impress me, the other 50% is to impress the customer.

So yea, I will take off the wheels at my discretion, the customer might not notice the extra step, but I do, and that's enough for me to make it as perfect as I can.

There are no extra fee's, but honestly its MUCH easier to take them off than to work around the wheel with a wheel brush.

Looked to me like a fair amount of tar behind the wheels and hitting it with a bug/tar remover just might have saved the clay. I'm also wondering why you let the surface of the clay get so bad before kneeding to expose a clean surface?

The end result is great though ! Good job.

Very nice recovery. Unfortunately, that level of "care" is quite typical when it comes to more expensive cars...no surprises there.

I hope you were paid well for the effort. I'm sure you had plenty of hours into this one.

Stoner's tarminator was used before the clay, however as we are all aware, it doesn't get everything.

As far as the clay, that was ONE pass down the lower rockers. I've never had clay pick up that much gunk in all my life. I actually had started to kneed it and thought I should take a picture.

As far as other replies, all methods are in the original post, thanks!
