My Car is at the point that I need to get it color sanded. Polishing would not do the trick the scratches are now bad. I won't have the time to color sand the car myself so I was wondering if anyone could recommmend me a place that can color sand my car in So. Cal? Wrong Section.....I think
Is this a factory paint job you're considering having sanded?
If so, typically this kind of paint is too thin and too hard to successfully sanded and buffed out. And if it can be successfully sanded and buffed out, then down the road, if anything should happen, such as a bird dropping, or a key scratch, etc. You may not have enough film-build left to work with.
Just to back up Jimmy, I've worked a lot with both of these detailers, Joe and Brian, and these two guys definitely have a passion for the craft. Both are capable of wet sanding and buffing out your car's finish. If anyone can do it, one of these two guys can. They also understand paint film-build and the service life of a paint job, and after evaluating your car's finish they are true Professionals and will tell you upfront if what you want done can be done, or shouldn't be done.
