Hi,

I am looking for a detailer that works with Zaino and similar products. I have an Black 03 X5 that was recently detailed, but I still have lot of small scratches. I have been hand washing it after the detail using tips from Autopia but dont have alot of time to polish or apply the whole Zaino kit. I am looking for an experienced detailer in either Stone Mountain (work) or Buford area (home).

Thanks.

Luca can probably help you out. He is 1 Clean WS6 on this board and his company is Sweating the Details. I don't think we are allowed to post website links to stuff like that but if you get real creative, you can probably guess his website address. :grinno:

If he can't fit you in or make it out that way, gmblack is also a master swirl remover who does a car or two on the side. He worked on my wife's Acura and removed all of the fine scratches - it came out beautiful.

There are others around but I do not have any personal experience with them and thus cannot say much on those.

I'd love to help but you are a bit out of my normal service area. If it was the slow season I could justify the drive but right now I am pretty slammed just in the Cobb, Cherokee and Fulton county areas.

Bryan (gmblack3a) is extremely talented, well seasoned with Zaino products and I believe lives in your neck of the woods.

Mike, That means alot coming from you. If anyone else was going to detail my car it would be you. Thanks to Scott also for his kind words.

I live south of the airport near Newnan/Peachtree city area and I will travel anywhere in north or central Georgia.

Thanks for all your replies. I've always had my cars washed by hand by a couple of detailers that used to visit my office area but I haven't seen them around for a while, so I have started washing the car myself using alot of advice from this excellent forum and Autopia. But detailing is another thing and I am not sure if i could hack it. If you find someone in my area, please send them my way. In the meantime i will be lurking around Autopia.org.

Thanks.

Hi,

I am still searching for a detailer that works with Zaino. I've contacted Ed Scully but he's really busy. He must be really good :) In any case if Ed reads this or if there is anyone else, I need someone really quick.

Thanks.

Tony,

When I get in on monday, I am going to check the list of detailers that my dealership has used. I will drop you a line with a suggestion. We can find someone to do a great job on your car I am sure.

Midtown

Midtown is close enough that you would probably be able to sweet talk either Sweating the Details or Bryan from Peachstate Detail to take care of you. I have seen the work of both and am always impressed. You can't go wrong with either.

The only note is that in a bar fight, my money would be on Sweating the Details. In a competition to see who can fix a thrust reverser faster, the smart money is on Peachstate. Pick your pony.

Gore - I have e-mailed the last detailer we used and were happy with to see if he covers your area. I should hear back from him shortly.
