Need to surprise my husband, help!

I think many women get caught up in the idea of getting someone a physical, thoughtful gift instead of a meaningless gift card, but I have to admit that over the years, I've forgotten plenty of gifts that my wife has given me. The thought she put into it was nice, but I'm very picky/particular about what I buy. One of the more memorable gift she gave me was a $400 Fry's gift card, which allowed me to build a cheap PC, which at the time was a hobby of mine and I never had money left over from my paychecks to do what I wanted to do. To this day I don't think she realizes that that was one of the better gifts I received from her. She's finally starting to understand though that people prefer gift cards so they can buy what they want. Less work for you, and more enjoyment for the person receiving it.

Gift card to Autogeek and something special out of the bedroom dresser drawer, and he'll be a happy man.

Honestly there's too many product and way too many opinions on here. Gift card addresses both of those. The only vote I could give is to the Jeff's Werkstatt Kit that somebody mentioned. It covers the range of product, and they're good products that he'll like. They are real specific and require a special knowledge to use.

Another vote for the gift certificate!



By now you've seen a ton of suggestions, but most of us are pretty picky about the products we use. I know my wife couldn't post on here and get ideas for the products that *I* prefer to use, at least not from the barrage of well meaning suggestions she'd be swamped with.



I'd go with two or three gift cards. For MF's there are a lot of choices but PakShak is a quality vendor of MF's, and his selection of other products is getting pretty impressive too.



The next place for a large GC would be Autogeek, and that is mainly because they have such a large selection.



Other smaller vendors with very good reputations here are Autopia Car Care, Exceldetail, Danase, and Detailers Domain just to name a few.



If any of these places have a place for a "coupon code" during checkout try using autopia for a 10% discount.
