I need some advice on which windsheild repair product to use in my autodetailing shop. something sutable for hot climate.
 
i thought it was going to be a long but organized explanation?

Not sure if you're still looking for information pertaining to Windshield Chip Repairs or not, but here's what I know......



I added Windshield Repairs to my Mobile Detailing Business in 2006, till this day, I still do them and I do pretty decent.



I have generated approximately $25 to $30K since 06 just off of Repairs! I know thats not a huge amount of $$, but it's more than what i had prior to adding it!



There are several manufacturers out there, first you're going to have to decide how much $$ you're willing to invest to get setup, and are you going to offer repairs to Out of Pocket & Insurance Customers, or just O of P.....



GT Glass offers very professional Kits and they have the BEST Resins you will find, I have used there Resins since 2006, but have tried free samples from other Co's, but GT's always out does any of the Comp....



Delta Kits has some really nice equipment, but their Resins are a little so-so...and about $20 more than GT's resins for the amount!



I have 4 kits, 1 from GT, 1 from Delta Kits, 1 from Glass Mechanix, 1 from Equalizer.......



I ONLY use GT's and Deltas.....I might as well throw out the other 2......worhtless hunks of junk!!



So......it's a good Extra Service to add, but don't go out and buy the Cheapest kit you can find, because in this industry,well......you get what you pay for!
