I've been having a string of bad luck lately with carpets. The last few cars I've detailed all had either light gray, or beige carpet that were pretty filthy. My normal procedure is to spot clean spots with either Chemspec spot lifter or Lifter 1 spot cleaner. I then use a stiff bristle brush. Then I will use foaming carpet cleaner and lightly pre-treat the rest of the carpet and use my Versa-Tool with brushes to thouroughly scrup the carpets. Here is where my problem is: I can usually break up the soil with by brushing, but when I use my Bissell with hot water - I can't seem to lift out all of the soil from the carpet. I don't know if it's because of not using a powerful enough extractor, or if the carpet is just stained and needs replacement or re-staining, or if I just don't know what im doing
