really, that doesn't look like a "keying". it's so low on your car and it's rather short (relatively speaking) for a key job. looks like an accident. it probably wouldn't make you feel better about your car one way or the other, but you might feel a bit better about humanity.
 
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking after seeing the picture of the scratch. Seem like it’s very low on the door. If it was keyed, it was probably the bad guy, MiniME.
 
Man, I would be sick, your taking it quite well. The same thing happened me years ago, a new BMW 325 that was four days old. In my case it was a shopping cart shoved into the side of the car. I glad I didn't catch the person who did it, I would still be in jail! A good shop can redo an entire panel and you will not even notice the difference in the clear coat texture.

As others have said, this definitely looks like a freak accident and not any deliberate key job.

OH man I am very sorry to read what happened. I do not think I have ever come accross another person who has seemed as dedicated as you are about your cars.
