Well hello Autopia! it has been awhile since i last took a plunge into this forum! But let me spare you my life story! I need some supplies! After some harsh winter details i need new pads, polish's. sealants, mf towels, etc. But i am looking to buy from a place that won't put a dent in my wallet and i am also looking for suggestions on products. I am using a PC, and i have been using the poorboy polish's, natty's and etc. so give me some new good ideas! :wavey

I don't want to sound like a jerk here, but you run a detailing business and you don't know where to go for cheap supplies? Propel pads from Exceldetail.com seem to be good yet budget conscious. Meguiar's NXT wax is over the counter and seems to be very popular among Autopians, also #26 (some seem to like it even more than NXT). Both of them can be found in local autoparts stores. Meguiar's polishes can also be found in local auto parts stores #80, 81, etc, and I have seen excellent results on here with all of those products. People seem to like Meguiars for the exact reason that they are good products and cost effective too. For MF towels Pakshak.com seems to come up quite often as a good source. Target sells the new Vroom MF towels in a 12 pack that seem to be nice for the price, $7.99 for 12 (plusher than the Wal-Mart blue ones). Good luck!

sportscarcare has some good deals check them out, just ordered a ton of stuff from them. only downside is they dont seem to have much for bulk items, I purchased Menzerna 32oz there and it was the cheapest price and lowest shipping cost

thanx for the help guyz!

Tasty- Be easy son! and yes i do own a detailing buisness and yes i know places and websites! I am just wondering where other people order from cause maybe it's cheaper! Wanting to save money is neither stupidy nor a crime!

P.S. - Help wanted not Opinioms!

Look into Optimum polish, $16 for 32oz and it is every bit as good as Menzerna IP without the dusting. Follow that up with some Menzerna FPII, Clearkote Red Moose Glaze, and EX. With the PC get some 7.5" LC VC pads. Gonna have to clay too.

Ken,

I think it would help if you provided a list of what are currently using and reason that you would like to change.

i.e. Trying to bring down operating costs, looking for a product that is easier to work it etc. as that would help the pro's assist you.

Try the Hi-Temp lineup from Top of the Line. Their products come in gallons, and the price is hard to beat. Good products too, IMHO. I order a lot from premium auto care too, because they stock the four star lineup in gallons, and they offer a 10% discount with the code detailcity.

Like I said in my first post, I wasn't trying to be rude. I was just kind of taken aback at that fact. I meant no disrespect, and totally understand your motivation. Good luck with it!

I'd say for the most part a majority of the online vendors offer pretty much the same prices on products. PakShak is pretty hard to beat for their product selection and customer service. I know Ranney is pretty "up to date" with some of the newer products out there.
