Need suggestions from rydawg and other Menzerna users

I'm thinking of trying Menzerna now that AG is carrying it. What can you guys suggest for a good cutting compound/polish as well as a finishing polish? I have the old version of OHC and it is just not cutting it for me. I've tried it on a LC orange and yellow pads, and it takes at least two applications to make a dent in the swirls. And even then, I'm still left with quite a bit of light scratches. The car that is giving me the most grief is my black 2003 Bonneville. I don't know if the intensive polish will do the job, or if I would need to get the power gloss? I just want something that will cut down on the amount of time I need to spend. Oh, and this will be done with a PC, and I have LC black, white, orange and yellow pads, as well as one of Danase's orange 5.25" CCS pads. Maybe I'm out of luck since I'm limited to the PC, so let me know if you don't think Menzerna will even make much difference.

I also want to try a finishing polish, something that will work well with any domestic finishes since we have a variety. So please suggest which of the finishing polishes would be the best to try.

d@mn, I just ordered this kit:

16 oz. Auto Shampoo

16 oz. Final Polish II

16 oz. Finishing Touch Glaze

16 oz. Full Metal Jacket (FMJ)

I guess I got the wrong stuff? Does anything above compare to what you guys are referring to? Super IP po83 106ff? Or do i have to get that stuff as well?

Which pads should I be using with each of these products?

Rawdawg is correct....the 2 best offerings are

PO83Q...super intensive polish

1066FF very pad dependent and does alot..

and po87MC if you want a good lite polish...

Thanks for the suggestions. So Ryan, having worked on that Bonneville, the SIP you think will be enough cut with a PC, where I wouldn't need the PG?

Grimm, using a PC, i got almost as good of cutting with the SIP as I did with PG, with a huge difference... the SIP didn't haze and swirl as bad as the PG did.

What makes you say that P087MC is lighter than P0106FF? AG's website lists both of them as capable of removing 2500 grit scratches. That would lead me to believe that P0106FF is a CeramiClear version of P087MC.

SIP is the way to go. The regular IP is just way to dusty and just messy, but does ok mixed with 106ff.

I guess the PC will be your limits to how much correction is possible.

For pads on pc, use the yellow LC if need be. I love that pad for pc.

The fact that 106ff can work better is the longer working time it has and the finer it gets as it is worked in creating a better looking and tighter gloss.

Not sure about correction, I have the normal IP and it is alright I guess. Dusts like crazy from my experience, probably not what you are looking for. I do have the 106FF and it is an excellent polish from my experience. I have used it on various cut pads and it removed more marring than I expected with a green Edge pad, and it finishes down very nice to boot. Worth the money for sure.
