ok well i already buffed my ride using a rotary with a yellow sm aarnold pad and some meguiars scratch x then followed that with some ultimate polish on sm arnold black pad, then followed that with mirror glaze #7 then for lsp used some nxt 2.0. worked great had some great shine but still have some deeper scratches. now these scratches i can't get a picture of no matter what light i try, anyways they are not deep enough to catch my finger nail but some a piece of paper could probably catch in(most are not that deep). as you all know white single stage paint is pretty hard. my thinking to correct this is to use some meguiars mirror glaze fine cut cleaner #2 on the yellow pad followed by mirror glaze swirl remover #9 or ultimate polish, then follow that up with some mirror glaze machine glaze #3, then hand applied sealant+wax? or should i use ultimate compound on the yellow sm arnold pad? from my research its showing that the yellow sm arnold pad is close to a orange LC pad. im just asking this question about my method just in case someone has worked on toyota single stage white paint. i should just do a test spot but im the type if i do one spot i need to do the whole car lol...also just trying to be sure some of the scratches are not too deep to remove(wish i could get some photos of the scratches) thanks guys

M105/M205 combo, or Ultimate Compound/Polish. Deep scratches usually require compound. There are an infinity amount of combos that would work, but you seem to be a Megs fan so that's what I would suggest.

i don't have 105 or 205 yet, i know i really need to get it however locally its overly expensive. and i do like meguiars products as they have been in the business for 100+ years but i'm far from the type that will only use megs products im open to try any product as long as it performs :) just megs is honestly cheaper then most others so reason why i picked the stuff i got to try out for now, gotta make me some money to buy more products lol. thanks for the help though. ill try the compound see how it works.. i wonder what has more cut though fine cut cleaner #2 or ultimate compound i know FCC#2 is a diminishing abrasive. been detailing a while just now getting into the paint correction side of things(did'nt help i was always afraid of a rotary since my first experience with one on my first car which left tons of swirls, mmmm rocks in a can!)

Ultimate Compound cuts decent and finishes down nicely. Its one of the better over the counter compounds out there. The old school rocks in a can compound has gotten the best of many of us. Just makes you appreciate how far products have come over the years. Poorboy new Master Cut compound is outstanding, but I don't believe its available just yet.

yeah i tried the FCC#2 and dont cut as much as the UC did, however the FCC#2 did finish nice but dried up fast. so what i did was use the UC on my yellow SMA pad then went to mg swirl remover #9 on my black SMA pad followed that up with UP on the white foam pad that came with my rotary(really soft pad). finish was a lot better then what it was took some before and after pics just don't know how clear they came out. ill update thread tomorrow sometime. thanks for your help mr.clean
