I'd do the wax by hand. Much as I do sometimes do it by machine, for now I think you oughta just keep it simple (and no, it won't take a lot more time/effort).
For the wax (or, "LSP" as in, Last Step Product), you could use the Poxy, or Collinite 746S (very durable, great protection), or my fave FK1000P (better durability and protection, different look).
The "Speed" is an All In One ("AIO") product combining a mild polish with a LSP. It could substitute for another finishing polish (I'd still LSP over top of it for added durability).
The UNO is a mid-range polish that I don't think really fits in with what you're doing here.
I don't know from Autoality, but you want backing plates that have the threaded male stud on the back as opposed to the threaded female fitting. I'd get either those black wool pads or Meguiar's MF cutting disks, period.
