Need some advice for next products.

Recently Ive been shopping at AG for my products and reading up on their forums. Recently I realized that they dont stock many excellent products and that they dont allow discussion of outside products, which brought me here. I just have a few question -

Is there an overall better sealant than WG DGS? Im looking for the usual qualities - shine, depth, durability, and metallic flake. JetSeal seems like it would qualify for this

What a nice product to "wax" windows? I use IG, but would like some slickness and beading on my windows. I have AW, and have heard that it does a nice job...

Whats better, ONR or DP 4in1? I am looking for the one wont strip my LSP, and has the most slickness to prevent marring

My interior cleaner and protectant is not cutting it, so I want something different. Megs QID seems like it works nice for a decent price... WHat about a conditioner/pretectant?

I would like to glaze prior to my sealant and CG glazes seem nice. Whats the difference between the EZ Creme and WMF?

Finally - Sometimes I like to put Megs #26 on top of WGDGS and wanted to try something with more shine and depth, preferably without mutting my metallic flake and without breaking the bank

Heres 2 pics of my car for reference to how it looks like with WGDGS topped with #26

Thanks, and I am looking forward to try some non-AG products

I used to only shop at AG, untill I looked at Danase's website, they have better prices and great products. :spot

Very beautiful Holden Monaro you have there sir. Proudly built 20 kms from my place.

I have to disagree about AG. They do stock heaps of great products

Lake country pads, 1Z, Wolfgang tire gel (along with sonus - the best tire shine on the planet IMO)

DP Interior protectant, Wolfgang DGPS & XMT polishes are very good products

They also stock the worlds best polishes - menzerna

Plus Duragloss.

Plus four star and so much more. Sure I'll be looking at danase and TOL more often for the newer products but AG are so cheap with pads that I don't go elsewhere

I didn't mean to say that AG doesn't carry goo products, because they do. I just know that there are a lot of good products that they don't sell.

Ok, here's my .02. Most of what you asked is totally in the eye of the beholder. As far as sealants go, you could go to Klasse, Zaino or Werkstatt for durability. They all look good IMO. I've never used Werkstatt, but am experienced with Klasse so I'm kinda lumping them together. I really love the Optimum line as well. Havent tried Optiseal yet; however, the polish, the poliseal and the OCW (spray wax) are great. I use OCW on my windows all the time and it will give you the desired beading on the glass. Clean the glass first because OCW isnt a cleaner. I clean with QD prior to OCW.

I've never used DP 4 in 1, but have some experience with ONR. After using ONR, I'm not looking to switch, and that's why I havent.

I use Adam's leather conditioner and Adam's VRT on interiors.

I have not used either glazes that you mention so I have no opinion.

If you're really looking for metallic flake, I think you need to switch to a sealant like Klasse, Werkstatt or Zaino. Wolfgang, though I havent used it, I saw my bud's black car after he had just applied it and it looked more carnauba-ish to me than sharp like a sealant.

That's a great looking car!

I started using the Klasse twins then switched to JW's Prime and AJT. Both Klasse and JW products are great. JW improves on the Klasse products by making application and removal easier. However, the slickness of JW's AJT falls off after 2-3 washes; and it attracts lots of dust. Now, I've tried Optimum's Opti-seal and really love it. The shine is intense and so far after 8 washes, slickness remains and very LITTLE dust attraction! So, I'm sold on Opti-seal and will use my remaining JW's AJT on my wheels.

BTW, I also really like the ONR product and it has kept my car swirl-free over at least 30 washes.

Regarding leather conditioner and protectant, I just purchased the New OPP (Optimum Protectant Plus) and I really like the easy application and the fact that the surface does not feel greasy.

My .02:

Sealants--Jetseal 109and FK 216 are both excellent products. Both add great shine and depth. FK has some carnuba in it too so it offers some filling ability.

Waterless: ONE-This product is truely exceptional. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny in my opinion. I think its on sale right now at CG.

Interior--Both Pinnacle and 303 are really good products. Both are not greasy but give a great new-shine look. 303 you can find locally.

Glaze--I only use Clearkote RMG anymore. If you decide to go with FK216 make sure you apply RMG first. You won't believe the wettness and depth you can get.

Topper--really not necessary but if I had to.....I'd probably go Blitz Acrylic Spray from CG or Pinnacle Spray Wax from AG. FK 425 is a really good detail spray over sealants too.

Thanks guys, keep the suggestions coming.

Whats the longest lasting sealant that can go over a glaze like WMS or EX-Creme? M and F-Seal look nice, but Ive heard that durability isnt all that great. Also, what about a wax, possibly CG, which gives more depth and glow than megs #26?

If I dont figure out something nicer, I will most likely replace the WGDGS with the DG 105 sealant...

For interior protecting I really like either FK #108 Top Kote or Optimum's Protectant Plus.

As a wax on metallics, I am really liking FK Pink Wax, seems to be holding up well after 1 month and 3 washes. Opti-Seal is also a nice sealant, but I'm not too sure about the durability yet.

I already use Pinnacle Leather Cleaner and Conditioner on my leather and will try 303 Protectant and Megs #40 on the dash and side panels. I looked everywhere and could not figure out what FK is, so what does the abreviation stand for?
