Need new Interior Protectant

I want to try out a new interior protectant....I would like something similar to optimum protectant plus...matte finish, non-greasy, and not super expensive.



what are my options...303 being expensive. I have a bottle of that, and a bottle of OPP left, and did a comparison, and found little difference to the eye to warrant double the price...
 
I really like Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer. At first I hated the way it smelled (funny how that matters so much) but then started to enjoy the scent. It does not leave anything greasy at all rather a very nice look - clean. And the new formula is supposed to offer more UV protection.



going a bit OT: I honestly think that UV protection is more of a marketing strategy than anything else. Now I'm not just talking about Meguiar's, I'm referring to all products that claim so much UV protection. My transition lenses on my glasses don't get darker at all in the car. I've even set them on the dash in the afternoon just to see if this claimed protection is sooo important. They stayed clear therefore; no change = no UV exposure.
 
I use Armor All Tire Foam and it works great.....





Seriously though Meg's #40 is my favorite and it gives more of a matte shine instead of high gloss....smells great too.
 
i use the meg's QID, but now also have a vinyl/plastic interior spray that is a little richer looking (not like armor all!) and I use this on the trim. At NAPA today I was picking up a bottle of DG and saw that they have a Meg's NXT Interior spray...how many frickin things are they gonna market?

I had mentioned previously in a discussion about Meg's QID the same exact example as why UV protection is more a marketing strategy.



ToyotaGuy, you don't like how hyper dressing works? I'm not familiar with HD, but I do have Meg's Water-Based Dressing (can be diluted up to 1:1 according to instructions), and at 1:1, I really like the look. I actually prefer the look over DuraGloss' UD dressing, which is a good product but is not as matte as Meg's WBD. I like the look because you can tell there's dressing on there (unlike Meg's QID where you can't tell at all) while not looking too shiny and feeling greasy. It's a pretty good value IMO.
 
anyone have a sample of waterbased dressing for me...just a couple ounces to mix 1:1...ill give ya a couple bucks...I just dont want to drop $ on wasteful products anymore...my garage is full of those...LOL
 
Optimum Interior Protectant is really good and you can get a 4oz. trial if you call 'em in a kit that has OCWax, OCWash, Interior Protectant, Tire Shine and a MF fo like $19.99
 
NXT Tech Protect is a very interesting product. It brings out a richer and fresher look, not just a covering of what's there. Its a bit shiny but you can buff it afterward to reduce the shine. I also use it on tires and exterior rubber/vinyl, looks great but doesn't last too long on the exterior.
 
Mark-V is coming out with a new Interior Protection package, probably similar to resist-all, or perma-plate. What makes this product special is that it comes with a one year warranty. It's a good selling tool.
