First order of business would be to educate yourself on just what exactly auto detailing entails. It would be kind of embarrasing if someone were to ask detail specific questions during your presentation and you not knowing what they are talking about. Personally, if I were you I would kindly pass on this offer.
If you thought detailing was just washing and waxing cars, you'll probably look pretty stupid making a presentation you know absolutely nothing about. You could read all you want within a months time, but that can't make up for the lack of experience. BTW, as of now you should refer to your business as a car wash business, not auto detailing.
I was being simple when I said washing / waxxing cars, I do understand there is more to it than that; however, what I'm saying is I havn't found a way to explain that to a car club. I mean certainly they would know what Auto Detailing is, which is why I'm having a hard time with a presentation because I don't know what I could possibaly explain about what I do... ...I just do...
This is what I do...
Wash Exterior, Door / Trunk Jams
Wash Wheels, Tires, Wheel Wells
Dress Tires aswell as any rubber or plastic surface
Clay Bar Exterior
Remove swirl marks on Exterior
Polish / Wax Exterior
Clean / Vacuum Interior
Clean Flat Surfaces, Doors, Dashboards, Windows, Carpets, Upholstry
Dress Surfaces, Doors, Dashboards
I treat all Vynil, Leather, and Plastic surfaces...
If I'm still to vague then I'm open for suggestions...
