I have a Black 99 Mustang GT, my wonderful mechanic left the car outside (which has never been done) for a month while he had it to replace the cams and intakes and now the car is covered in waterspots you can feel as well as see, what is the best product to remove them and will it have to be done by PC or can I do it by haqnd you think? Or just get a pro to take care of them. Thanks for any insight guys.

Things I'd try:

Strong mix of car wash soap

Clay

Chemical Paint Cleaner, either dedicated like Meg's DC1 or MPPC, or an AIO such as Klasse, JW, Zaino, etc..

Finishing polish

If that fails Decon kit??

Depending on how long the stains and how how deep they are embedded, you might want to try Duragloss Water spot remover.

If you have a PC.. try a cutting pad and a light polish or AIO.

Sometimes claying might help with some QD. That's the first thing you should try before using a polish.

If all else fails, as weird as it sounds, I once put Natty Blue over a bunch of waterspots I discovered on my hood because I didnt have a machine with me or an AIO. A few days later when I went to correct them with my rotary and polish, they wiped right off after the wash.

Use a strong AIO, polish, compound, depending on the spots, they can be stubborn.
