I HAVE 1Z PP & MP ON ORDER. I HEAR MF TOWELS ARE BETTER FOR APPLICATION(BY HAND) FOR MODERATE ABRASIVE POLISHES (LIKE PP), VERSES COTTON TERRY TOWLES WHICH MAY SCRATCH. AS FOR FINE POLISHES (MP) IS IT BEST TO USE A FOAM APPLICATOR? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ADVICE.

Note: please turn off your caps, others may think you are shouting :)

Even by hand I would try least aggressive first, using a foam applicator, if that doesnt work, then go with the mf, if you still aren't making much progress you could try terry but you may have to polish out scratches ,like you say, that it can induce

I've used this procedure with both PP and MP. Hope your paint isn't as difficult as mine because I almost always use 1z by PC now :(

Thanks for your advice Bill D, and the tip on the caps(Newbie).

I'll try the least abrasive first and work up to terry cloth if needed. Is there a certain type of MP you would recommend, or does it not matter.

Thanks Again.

You could use any one of the mfs mentioned here, PakShak, Poorboys, Microfiber tech, etc. All top quality

Once I've worked my way up to terry cloth, at what point (after how many applications) do you decide that you need to go with a more aggresive polish?

I go by how fast my hand gets exhausted and still not being able to get out the scratches. If you can't get the scratches out with the terry bump up to the next aggressive polish, to be safe start with a mf or even foam pad all over again.
