Need Chrome Polish

OK, can anyone recommend good chrome polish? I just tried Mothers, and man was it a waste of time. The only good I can say is it removed the little bit of brake dust I had. I've got light scratches on my wheels, and it didn't touch it. You can see it in this pic.

If they're chrome, you're not getting any scratches out of it. If there is a clear coat over it, you can use ScratchX

i use eagle 1 nevr-dull wadding polish.its in a chrome can.ive read some other people had good results w/blue magic chrome polish.you can find them both at auto zone.

Oxidation and stuff it will help. I just used mothers and it was awesome. They were 20 in rims on a denali by the way. The owner was very pleased.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but they are very light. I would equate it to swirls in the paint.

Chrome is hard and thin..so you really can't do much as far as repairing. Maybe one of the better swirl masking sealants or waxes could help.

I've been curious about chrome scratches for my bike and I haven't seen any solutions on the Harley boards..mostly just 'replace the part' solutions

factor rims should have a clear coat

use the same stuff you use on you paint

if it in the chrome not much you can do

You said it removed brake dust. Were they clean before you started. Ask the dealer if they are cleared. They look a little different than regular chrome, but I have been sitting here too long to.(LOL)

Yes they were clean. There was just a very small amount of brake dust in a couple corners that didn't come out from washing.
