Need advice for scratched bumpers!

Well, I knew it was bound to happen, I've gotten some scratches on my IS 250 bumper. I was wondering what everyone thinks I should do and how to do it. Thanks.



Here are some of the tools I have:

2000 grit sandpaper for wetsanding - novice/ never done before

polishing compound

clear coat

touchup paint for my car



The first picture is on the driver side rear bumper.



The second picture is on the passenger side front bumper.

The first one looks like a scuff. Mabe you could polish it out.

The second looks like a gouge.

the first one might could be buffed out or at least toned down to make it less visable. rotary and go slow because its plastic and can warp if overheated. the second one.. trust me, there is no hope in touchup.
