AHOY AUTOPIA!

It's been awhile. Well I come to you today at 1:45pm in the morning (EST) because I am in need of some advice. So I own this beautiful Graphite Grey Evo 9 MR. I have detailed it before, and it looks great but i fiend more. What polish/sealant/wax combo do you recommend and in what order would you recommend I use it? I want the car to look even more wet and shinny then ever before!

So tell me autopia, what do I NEED to order?!?! :LOLOL

Humbly,

Kenny!

Kenny . . . .don't you mean 1:45am:heelclick

What condition is the paint currently in? Does it have water spots or swirls etc . . . . ? Only reason i ask is because if you want maximum shine/wetness perfecting the entire will make the end results that much more.

Without know the paint condition it is hard to recommend products.

I would however look into the Menzerna line of products for your polish needs and as far as waxing goes or a sealant grab some Blackfire Wet Diamond. You won't be dissapointed.

The paint is in great shape, some light swirls as its last detail was in early June. I have used and still use Menzerna, However i am new to Wet Diamond. I'll give it a try. THANKS!

wet diamond is very easy to apply and very easy to remove unlike some products.

If you need help driving that thing let me know LoL. I always wanted to drive a evo and i have always been a fan of gold rims on almost any car.

HAHAH Thanks sir. It actually has the Advan center caps on it now also. Im heading to the track soon. Hoping for 11.70's or better!

And tanks for the advice!!!!

No problem. G'luck at the track. Everything stock or did you slap in a bigger snail :spot

Those numbers should be very achievable . . . . . . just get a good launch, get some good 60ft times and you will be on your way to 11's

Nope stock turbo, I have Cams, headstuds, fuel pump, exhaust, LICP, and a nice tune, hahah I like the sleeper look. I'll go bigger snail after I buy a house, hahah

I would recommend using the Wolfgang products on the paint surface.

1st Auto Bathe

2nd Elastic poly Clay / Clay Lubricant

3rd Total Swirl Remover 3.0 / Orange Light Cutting Pad / DA Polisher

4th Finishing Glaze 3.0 / White Polishing Pad / DA Polisher

5th Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 / Gray Finishing Pad / Da Polisher or Hand

6th Fuzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

I like to use the Wolfgang, DP & Optimum products for Wheels and Tires

1st DP Gel Wheel Cleaner

2nd DP Wheel Glaze

3rd Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel

4th Optimum Opti-Seal

Awesome thanks a lot. I def have a lot of ordering to do. I'm going to have the car in the garage for winter so i'll be doing the detail over the course of the winter. I just got my headliner and pillars done in suede. I love the winter I get so much done on my car! :woot:

Thanks again for the advice! :D:D

lucky. I think with the right tune your goal is possible but you will def. be maxing out the stock turbo for sure. Sometimes i wish i never got out of the car scene. Evo's are very nice cars. 4 door and sporty. I would up picking up a 09 accord v6 coupe. I have been out of the scene for a few years now, but i was very much into building hondas. I can't live without turbo's! Had 2 WRX's which were also nice. I need to drive a Evo =)
