You are correct, I agree. OP requested Slight correction on an '08 model mobile home and never mentioned oxidation, that's why I said PS and sounds like you'd agree for this specific application. kewl!

I agree. Integrity, as an outside observer reading through this thread the first time, it would be nice if the community is allowed to move on from here. For the most part, the other members have been very diplomatic in their responses. There is nothing wrong with giving the OP options. Also, if being labeled an Optimum fanboy rubs you the wrong way maybe cleaning up your sig. would help.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would've stopped a long time ago, but some people (you know who you are) keep on making comments that I don't want to leave unaddressed on a forum that never deletes old threads. When we joined we all had to agree to the rules, some people obviously didn't read them and don't respect them. We are supposed to stay on topic and refrain from flaming. We are also supposed to handle problems via PM's which I have tried to do only to be ridiculed for it. I will not let it go just so someone can get the last word. Stop being derogatory towards me and my opinions and I will gladly move on. I would like to thank the Autopian's who have been diplomatic and helpful to me and the original OP; please forgive the digression.



I don't mind being known to use and recommend Optimum, but I probably will never even try Zaino because of the way it's supporters act. You guys should really think about how you come off to potential customer's before you comment. This doesn't apply to all, but definately affects all. Just a suggestion.
 
Okay, I think everyone involved needs to step back. If y'all continue to fan the flames... The thread will be locked.

Thanks for the posts everyone and I have ordered some Poliseal to give it a try. The coach is new so there is not any oxidation at all. Just minor surface scratches I assume from the washing brush and that is mostly seen on the BLACK sections.



I may also try the suggestion of using a product with more cut just on the black. As noted it is just too big to try and two step it so I will try to buff the black first with more cut and then overall it with the poliseal and see how that holds up.

Probably could have ended this thread in the first page if I had remembered this 24' trailer and Excursion I did using my Cyclo, green Edge polishing pads and Poli-Seal.

That was back in September, I believe. No idea what the red car was, it was parked at the Braum's adjacent to the parking lot the truck and trailer were on.
 
Red Car looks like a Pontiac Sunfire.



Good pictures Scottwax.....definately shows that Poliseal has a good place as a one step.

Good luck, that RV is a beast.



Your using a machine right? I dont remember if you stated that in your first post.



When using poliseal, you will want to work it in for a few passes after begins to disappear, until it is virtually gone. A couple pea sized drops after the pad has been primed will be plenty. If you use too much, you pad will gum up. The slight haze should buff off effortlessly. If you want, you can apply OPS to the entire RV, then come back and buff it off all at once.



Finally, depending how soiled the pad gets, you may want a couple pads laying around to quick change them.
 
^^^ Good advice. Less is more with any Optimum polish.



One of the misconceptions that people has is that when PS disappears, they think it's not working when it actually is. PS will disappear very quickly but just keep working it. You'll be left with very little residue to buff off.
