Need a complete detail in Chattanooga.

I was referred here my mshu7 on the Mazda3 Forums (not sure if that's his name on here). I have a 2009 Mazda3 sedan that I want to get completely detailed, top to bottom. I'm looking for a skilled, knowledgeable, and thorough detailer in the Chattanooga area to do this for me. I'll check this thread for responses, but I can also be reached by PM or by email at [email protected]. If you could give me a list of your services/products, and your price(s), I'd appreciate that too, along with any other info you can give me. Would greatly appreciate it! :chuckle:

Edited to add: I'm willing to travel an hour in any direction to get this done.

Or in Memphis....

I have tried to locate detailers/PPF installers in Chattanooga for customers before to no avail....

Almost wondering if I should take up my own detailing business here in Chattanooga, since there seems to be no competition :nixweiss . Normally I detail my car myself... a hand wash, clay bar, sealant, and interior vacuum/wipe down. Obviously I'd have a lot more to learn, and a lot more supplies to purchase, to get something started, but I bet there's a healthy market here for a skilled detailer. Just not sure I have the time for it, though.

I have a 99 BMW 528 that has been very well maintained. However over the past year I let the wax go a bit beyond where I should have. Also, it has never been clayed and only machine buffed one time in its life. After having a piece of blown out tire hit my front end and having to go to the body shop I had them do a full clay, buff and seal. The results were truely amazing. The cost was I believe $275 and took a couple days. They even masked out all trim so as not to get any cleaner/wax on it. This included engine and door jams etc. No interior work.

Kens Body Works is in Dalton on the north end closer to you. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any restoration, body work or just a really really good detail. I do not let anybody other than his shop touch my vehicles. Call Ken and tell him Todd recommended him and that you want Teron to do a job for you. See what you can negotiate. Ken's number is 706-259-2704.

If you go this route let me know how it turns out.

Will definitely look into it. Seems fishy to me that they have five 5-star reviews on Google Maps all posted on the same day--sniffs of an employee posting them--but I value your word. Appreciate the tip.

So you don't trust some reviews that where posted on the same day, but you are gonna trust someone here with one post?

Here is someone from the northside of Atlanta who fell victim to some fictitious reviews:

I don't understand about the google posting issue but you are welcome to check out my car in person if you like. I am a CPA and own a printing company in Dalton so I am not some hack poster blowing smoke but understand the caution one needs to exhibit on the net. However, I need to visit the BMW place in Chatt this week if I can find the time and would be glad to give you a ring to check it out while I'm there or you can stop by my business any time for an inspection yourself if you like. Ken runs a first rate auto repair shop and has done restorations for years including a Bronco for me. If you shoot me a pm at [email protected] I can send you some pics.

Glad to see you posted this thread. I'll tell you that gmblack3a and ebpcivicsi both do AMAZING work! You can't go wrong with either of them.

-off topic-

ebpcivicsi: Make sure you post up some pictures of your new shop when you get a chance! Can't wait to see it!

agreed, you couldn't of picked two better people... :2thumbs:

For anybody curious, ACC1079 did an outstanding job on my car this weekend, and definitely knows his stuff. Don't have the pics up yet, but will soon. He's located in Cleveland.

Lol, no, Cleveland, TN. About 30 mins north of Chattanooga.

Thanks Zero! Appreciate the feedback, and glad you liked it. I will forever have nightmares over that carpet!! lol
