NC Detail Meet, June 7th

Ok guys, the days is drawing near-er. I'll have everything set up, and we can use the 2 requested cars to demo some things on. Bring products to trade and use to demo. Everyone make sure yal bring some supplies.

I'll have a "Wiggins Builders" sign at the road so everyone will know where the meet is. The house has a paved driveway, 2 mail boxes, and a pond in front. Hard to miss, only house with a pond on my road.

Definatly interested in going to Majestic if anyone else is interested.

I thought it may be nice if we could list things we are looking to buy or trade for, so if anyone has any of these items and wants to part with them, they can bring them.

I would like some of the new Optimum Car Wax. Also interested in low profile 5.5" pads (orange) and 4" pads.

I've got samples from The Detail Dude, FK, and some stuff I have collected. Thanks to MartinD, I don't have anything much to sell - except some 3M pads. MS field trip? OK - I'm calling "shotgun" right now,LOL!

Man Law #32

Shotgun cannot be called until you are in the vicinity of the vehicle ;)

I plan to be there. Used googlemaps so you are just off 401 about 25 miles from me so I-540 then north on 401.

I am bringing my zaino stuff, I dont think I like it that much perhaps I can pawn it off on someone :) just dont like the application method vs ultima...

I am bringing:

Zaino, HTHC, M95, HTFC, Ultima.....does anyone have wolfgang sealant 3.0? I'd be interested in seeing it in action

No 3.0, i've got the other 3.0 stuff.

I know june bug is interested in M95, and I'm interested in Ultima, if you dont mind me trying some :nana:

sure, I got 32 oz of it and a sample bottle still left of M95. I got UPGP and 2 packets of UPGW (the soap), and some USDP. Should I bring my UDM? its all I have as far as polishing machines :) maybe I'll get a rotary this weekend....

I would like to thank Brandon for hosting this at his very nice garage. It was 100 F outside but very nice in the garage. It was nice to meet JuneBug, MartinD, bwalker25 and his dad, and the guy (forgot his name) who allowed them to work on his bimmer. Martin and Brandon made a rotary look too easy.

Big thanks to brandon and the super nice garage , martin D your the man , and everyone else who helped with the bimmer . I never thought i would see sand paper being used on my car , but i had alot of fun and the driver side of my car looks great .

Thanks Guys

haha Tim your face was priceless like a deer in the headlights kinda look. Perfect ;)

Thanks Brandon for hosting this thing and thank you martin for the advise and help with my questions. Jimmy your the man!

I have an insurance job this week. Complete overspray removal and W/S on a 2005 Saab 9.3 Linear (black in color of course). Any of you are more than welcome to come check it out.
