Excellent shine! Almost a shame to waste it on a minivan though. :p

At least all that cladding on the bottom makes it easier to wax.

Thanks very much Scott!! Next week another coat is going on just to see what happens.

I forgot that I used WAUD inside the car while drying it.

Her car hasn't been kept clean in the past because we would always do something else instead and she didn't want to be away from me while I'd take care of it. However ... first, she "hates" the color of the car + when it is dirty she hates it even more. So we decided a few weeks ago that I'll wash it weekly and keep it clean. I pick up the car when she is busy and detail it at my place. When I did the initial detail 2 weeks ago, she was very happy with the result. Today she was really amazed how shiny it looked. She said it looked like a new car. So now she is very proud of her clean car, so the wax is not being #wasted# :)

Nice shine. You should get some stainless mounting hardwear for the license plate.

Thanks!

You know, I was thinking of that today while I was washing it.

I may just get a plastic one since she will sell this car sooner or later.

Thank you very much 1 Clean WS6!

I most likely wouldn't use Pinnacle Souveran on this van....

But if I think about it, I would actually use it & use just about anything on it. Just to see what it would look like on it. But I can't see myself spending $60 on that wax, since I don't detail very high end cars.

(But that may change soon.....)

I think "any" good wax is a waste on a car that is not kept up.

Natty's is what - $14.00? So I used about 39 cents worth.

How did you use WAUD, I don't understnad what you mean on the interior paint, are you talking about door jambs, etc?

Hey Tdekany, with your personal opinion how would you compare Natty's to S100 as far as ease of use, durability, look...etc etc. This question is opened to anyone really.

hi ashburn va - never used s100. can't tell you about durability, but both should be put on top of a sealant.

same with look. no clue.

maybe others will have better info for you.

very easy to use Natty's but as you have also read, so is s100.

for me to really compare waxes/sealants, I would have to....

man - it would be so difficult to do a test if you think about it.

I will detail my car this thursday using a rotary (hopefully not destroying the paint in the process) and thinking about using ssr 2.5, ip, fp and fk1 sealant x2 anf fk1 red wax (maybe). waxes take away from the slickness sealants leave behind (in my experience) so I may just keep reapplying the sealant every so often. my car's paint is neglected right now and since I detail, i want people to see it shiny, although i always get compliments on the shine even when it is dirty.

I feel you....the past few days in Northern Va had been rainy and has sucked big time. (my car is filthy right now) I have used the Zaino and P21S (s100). Yea the wax doesnt keep the slickness as long as sealants IMO...I would have to agree with you on that one... I noticed your upcoming detailing regimen on your car...IMO i would only use IP or just the SSR 2.5 instead of both. I have used both via PC and cut pads and the SSr2.5 is pretty aggressive.....stronger the IP via PC. I would imagine with a rotary it would even be more aggressive. I think both IP and SSR2.5 would be to much unless your car is in real bad shape. (Deep swirls and etching.) But good luck and keep up the good work.

Maybe since your pretty close to where I live (Ashburn about 30 mintues from Fairfax) we'll have to get together and try some of each others products. ( I would trade some of my P21S for some natty's maybe )

yes, we should meet sometimes.

i use ssr 2.5 on every car I detail (well most) since I get mostly neglected ones. i just really want to play around and that is why i want to use both ssr 2.5 and ip

i will also use the fk1 decontemination kit for the first time.

i may change my mind and do ssr2.5, ssr2, ssr1, pp, exp, natty's :D
