Natty's leaving a haze..

My L5-S1 is killing me!
Haze with Natties

I love natties but I usually get a very slight haze after I've fully removed it (usually find it the day after). It has to be in direct sun to see it, very faint but there. I usually go over it once with S&G and a mf to remove. Does anyone go over it twice because of this? My car is milano red so maybe it amplifies it more than a light color? I try to put the coat on as thin as possible too.

Re: Haze with Natties

wifehatescar (I love the username btw), I had the same thing the very first time I used Natty's, turns out I had removed it too soon (and used a bit too much). If you're in a garage you'll need to let it sit for awhile (could be 10-15 min if its cool) but you'll definitely know when it hazes. Usually makes it easier to take off, too.

Re: Haze with Natties

You might also try a quick spray of S&G to remove after it has fully hazed. Gets the dust up into the MF and adds a bit more "zing" to the finish in one step.

Re: Haze with Natties

I let it dry about 10 minutes on the whole car in the garage, then remove. And I use S&G too.

Re: Haze with Natties

I would give it a good 1/2 hour ..about the time to apply to a whole car, take a short break and then start the removal process...if done indoors in the evening even a little longer...

Agreed. I usually put it on and go do the interior or clean the garage up while waiting to remove the wax.

Re: Haze with Natties

ok, I'll give that a try. I'll also try removing then going over again with S&G, that might help too.

I think it's just me though... I'm applying it thin enough, so I think... But question is this: Can I use S+W to remove nattys once its dry? thx

Also.. Sometimes S+W and S+G haze to. What am I doing wrong?

sure you can :) i use s&w sometimes but I think it would be better if you use s&g instead. sometimes I get haziness with the products you mentioned because of the humidity. maybe you can look into that :)

Try using the the S+G on top of the Nattys before you remove the Natty's.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised as you will see in the enclosed pic. This was done in the sun at about 90+degrees heat and a bit humid with no hazing.

S+G on top ehh? So just spray when nattys has hazed, then wipe off? Or spray when nattys hasnt hazed? thx

Apply Nattys, let it haze (could take up to 30 min or more in a garage), then remove with a mf spritzed with S&G. That's what I do, works wonderfully.
