Natty Blue vs. Liquid Souveran

Between NB/NR and Liquid Souveran I would chose NB/NR; however I think Souveran Paste's cost is definitely justified if you can swing it with your wife.

Dry time for NB or NR is way to long, PS or S100 is short and sweet,

No drying time wipe on wipe off, no need to wait an hour Plus

Natty's Blue is the easiest paste wax I have ever worked with. I cant comment on LS, but I've done a half/half with NB and PS and couldn't tell the difference.

Try S100 that you can get local, , its easy on easy off, NO

drying time, with PB blue you have to wait and Wait and then

us a QD to help you remove, so I guess if you have alot of time

the Nattys is for you, I have used both the Red and Blue,

S100 is so eays not wait time,

Most detailing enthusiasts don't get paid to detail my own cars, so the time is money arguement doesn't apply.

Why do you have to wait so long to remove Natty's?

I don't know where the hour wait time came from, I remove NB almost right after i apply it just like i do PS. The longer you wait, the harder it gets, any streaking will evaporate within a day or two. In my experience, nuba's don't really require any waiting time.

Both of the Natty's haze over within a minute or so. You can remove then and you're done. Like it was said the streaks will disappear within a day. I didn't find them to be any different than P21S, #26, #16 or even an old tin of EO paste I have. Maybe you're putting on too much?

Paste Souveran is superb on black. Very liquid. I never like the liquid stuff.

Souveran is a bit wetter than Nattys Blue in my experience. NB is decent but just a tad less than Souveran in performance.

Wow- thanks to everyone for your help!! (even MDRX8! :) - no offense taken, and I really appreciate your very kind offer- I'll be in touch if I decide to go with NR!!) Thanks again!!

OK- here's the dreaded follow-up question(s): I'm assuming that my car will be delivered without swirls/scratches (I know- a bit naive, but my dealer seems to do a pretty good job with its new cars, and it will take care of me if I need an extra detail or two to get it right). So, I am not planning to do any "real" polishing (i.e., no PC or UDM), but will wash, then clay. If Natty's Blue or Red is my LSP, what would you recommend as my "pre-LSP" products/steps? I'm currently leaning towards the Wolfgang products (Paintwork Polish Enhancer + Deep Gloss Paint Sealant). Is there something more I should be doing/different products I should consider? I've consider the Klasse Twins, but some horror stories about working with SG scared me away. Thanks!!

PK8,

Assuming the dealer doesn't provide you with any swirls you good just use something like PoorBoy's Ex-P or Ex sealant with NB on top.
