Nasty Ford Ranger

I feel bad going over $100....I tossed around the thought of $80 for a bit but that seemed a bit low and from most of your responses it probably would have got a "ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!?!".

i figure 20 bucks for the oil change ... 40 bucks for the brakes .. the inerior i would do for free ... set it on fire and run =)

100 bucks sounds good for labor only .. also depends on how close of a buddy

You guys are crackin' me up! :funnypost

Seriously, I've done a truck that was that bad. He's a friend from work and I charged him my "discounted" rate of $40 per hour. It took me 2-1/2 hours to do the interior so it was $100 for the interior.

That included cleaning up all the bulk trash, vacuuming, steaming the carpet and seats, cleaning all the vinyl and plastic, interior glass, door jambs, and vinyl dressing...... and I was working my A** off to get it done in 2-1/2 hours.....

Believe me $100 was cheap for that job... Good luck.

Well... go with your gut. I'd do it for $80 for a good friend. If he's a really good friend, have him help you a little and buy you a case of beer!:laugh::laugh:

Well when he is done with the police academy and hired on I will make him help me with any tickets I may get.

:xyxthumbs:xyxthumbs:xyxthumbsThere ya go!!!

A friend indeed... and from the looks of your AVATAR, you may need the help!!! :rofl:rofl:rofl

IFL want to see the results.

For a friend it would be different but I would insist that he or she be there and tackle some of the grunt work. Even though it looks bad once you get all the crap out it goes pretty quick just gotta let the carpets soak. Get one of the stiff brushes for the PC that does amazing work.

I can get pics up tonight or possibly tomorrow. What you guys have to keep in mind is he did tell me to not go totally overboard with it. I spent probably a good 5hrs total on the oil, brakes, and interior.

That's exactly why I started charging an hourly rate...

It's just too hard to judge "how much would it cost" without judging "how long would it take".:scared:

I'm much better at the latter! :cooleek:

That rotor was too funny. Didn't that make any noise?

It sounded like death when I pulled it inot the garage. He just doesn't care. A little longer and that pad would have come shooting out and really done some damage.

I wonder if when he's a cop he'll have any sympathy for those motorists driving unsafe cars...

Haha! One of my buddies has the same card with that girl on there, he picked it up in Vegas, her name is Lizzy! ROFL!

Well, he piicked the truck up before I could get pics. I asked him to take pics and email them to me...as you can guess he didn't do that...kinda makes me mad bc I wanted to post them on her for those who wanted to see them....he is sooooooo lazy.

Anyway, I ended up charging $100 plus parts.
