Name your favorite non-cleaner wax

A *very* high-solvent LSP like 1Z Glanz Wax would probably do something to underlying products, but I've never tried it (in great part for this very reason).

That's true, the solvents in 1Z Glanz will remove carnauba wax; I've never tried it over any sealants, though.

My favorite carnauba waxes: Blitz Wax - easy to use, looks great on all colors, lasts a long time, and has a mild pleasant "wax" smell (it's the un-Natty's Blue in that regard!)

S100
- For looks, I think it's the best of any I've ever tried (though I haven't tried Souveran). It's also so easy to apply and remove, but has poor durability.

If you really like P21s you might not like Souveran (I go the opposite way between the two) as I found they look surprisingly different.

Wonder if you'd get better durability out of the P21S if you let it set up before you buff it off (I'm assuming you use the W-O-W-O method with it). I started letting Souveran dry before buffing it and it lasts a bit longer that way. Not like it'll turn it into Blitz or anything though ;) People often think you can't let these waxes dry (I know *I* did) but a little experimentation, at the urging of Mike Phillips, taught me otherwise.

Is it still just as easy to remove? I've always used WOWO with Souveran. I guess I'll let it dry on the next car I use it on.

My favorite is Souveran. No question about it. I have tried Zymol, swissol, vicoria, trade seret,ps21, 845, natty blue, Zanio, etc...etc... It just looks best on "MY" car. Durability a none issue for me. I wax every week. 5050 and blackfires wet diamond come in second. Sometnig about PS after 3 coats just does majic on my car. Sorry thats just the

wy it is. Meg. #21 topped with PS is great.

PS, RMG, PS, cystil mist. The ultimate. JMHO ZOOM-ZOOM

I let my S100 set too instead of WO-WO. Its not any harder to remove that #16 if applied thin enough.

You have tested Blackfires new wax? Not the sealant but the wax.

YES, I have. It goes on easy comes off easy and gives a good shine and depth. Rate it a B+ to Souveran rating of A .... 5050 rate a B+ also. This is based on looks only since I wax at least once a week. Cost on the high side C-........

OK, fellas, thanks for the tip! I'll try it that way next time.

I suppose that *nothing* is quite as easy as W-O-W-O, but it's sure no PIA as long as you do the thin-application bit. I played around with it, let some of it set up for over a hour, and it buffed right off with a really plush MF (one with no real bite to it). But just to play it safe, I probably wouldn't do the whole SS the first time, just in case your experience is different from mine...that's a pretty big car ;)

Oh, and Sam bought my 9C1 yesterday...I have mixed feelings about letting it go :nixweiss
