NAIAS (Detroit) 2012 meet, anyone?

Assuming the weather holds, I should be at NAIAS in Detroit on January 15th. Anyone else planning to be there/want to meet up at the show?



We can all count the swirls..... :tape:
 
You'll be loosing coount after the 1st couple cars. Just image all the car models with their beaded dresses rubbing up against each car. :jaw:



I'll certainly try setting my sights for this date. Would love to meet up.
 
I'm probably going on sunday too. I'm also asking a bunch of friends that work in the industry to see if they have any free passes. Seems like when you don't want these things they are coming out of the woodwork, but the opposite when you need them.



Keep in mind that I'm like 10 minutes away from Cobo in Grosse Pointe Park.
 
I'm potentially down to go, but I might be finishing up some work. Now that I see the Honda NSX replacement was unveiled today and looks like it's going to be crab, I'm considering not going. It was the number one car I wanted to check out after all.



If two of my favorite detailers are going, I'll certainly try to make it regardless!
 
Don't let a couple cars change your mind about going. Almost every car produced will be there. I'm sure you're love it!



I say we meet at my place, grab some lunch and hit the show.

I'll actually have my uncle (a fellow car guy, but not a detailer by any means) along on Sunday so the plan with him was getting to the show right around 10; if you guys figure something else out though I'll see if he's down to play along.



Wonder what they'd do if we took a PTG into the show? :lol:

You'd better make it, especially if you want to get your hands on some M101 to test out ;)
 
I am planning on going the 21st with my girlfriend but I am having a tough time getting work off. I may have to see about being able to go at an earlier time during the week when there isn't a time conflict.
 
Just reminds me that we should all get together asap regardless of the Auto Show. Also planning on putting on a Midwest Autopiafest this spring as well.

Well, I'll put it to you this way: I'm coming in with two sample bottles, and leaving with zero sample bottles. Past that it's not up to me where they go.

I have a business trip to Detroit planned for next week. Going in a day early and plan to spend Monday at the auto show. Looking forward to it!
